ANIMAL FRIENDSHIPS

Research shows it's not just humans who make friends. For example, chimpanzees spend a lot of time cleaning each other. They also share food. Studies have found that male friendships last for about seven years. Both sexes look to their 'friends' for sympathy when they feel stressed. 7.1 They also act like us when they argue.
