I have just heard that you are considering hosting a blood donation event in our school, which I believe is a splendid idea. I have also heard that you have objections to the idea after the unfortunate incidents we had last year. I believe that if we withdraw from the project, the school's reputation will suffer. What example will we give if we do not support a blood donation cause? I understand your reservations after several students fainted and had bruises during last year's event. Fortunately, these symptoms are frequent, especially among teenagers. If we had been better prepared, I think we would deal with the problem better. I believe we need to do our homework better this time. That's why I would like to suggest inviting twice as many medical staff as last year, so that each donor will have personal assistance for 30 minutes after the donation. Perhaps we could ask students' parents who are not donating to provide this assistance. We should also provide nutritious snacks - a few parents have already volunteered to take care of this.
