Why We Should All Be Vegetarians
When John Marsden was a teacher, he took a class on a trip to an abattoir. Only three students managed to complete
the tour, the rest ended up outside under the trees trying to quell their nausea. Four became vegetarians on the spot.
The conclusion of the trip was that Marsden was reprimanded for promoting violence and instilling inappropriate
attitudes in children, while his intention was only to draw their attention to the inhumane treatment of animals!
In short, we should all be vegetarians because it is more civilised, healthier and more economically and
environmentally beneficial (...)
