Stone skipping is throwing a flat stone onto the water to make it bounce on the surface. It requires knowledge 5 ? physics and appropriate handling of the stone, but it's really easy to grasp the principles behind it. I now take part in international competitions. My parents disapprove 6 ? it as they think it's a waste of time and money spent on travelling, but it appeals ? 7 me, so I'll keep at it.

I discovered pickleball after my physiotherapist suggested it to me. I thought I wouldn't be capable 8 ? engaging in this sort of activity due to having some back problems, but I've now realised that it's perfect for me. If you're familiar 9 ? tennis or badminton, then pickleball shouldn't be new to you. You use a solid wooden racket and play on a smaller court. I've now convinced a few friends 10? the benefits of it and they sometimes play with me.
