We’re going to be a host family for Kostas, a student from Greece.
I haven’t talked to him yet and I’m curious about what he’s like.
Is he outgoing or shy? Tomorrow I should get his first email
and I’m sure we’ll become friends. His room is quite small but
I hope that won’t be a problem for him.

Lara, a student from Sweden, is coming to visit my family. I’ve
already had some video chats with her. I’ve even seen her brother!
Lara makes me laugh a lot and I like her. However, I’m a bit
worried because it’ll be the first time someone else is going to
share my room. Has anybody else been in a similar situation?

 

C.

Inez, a student from Spain, is coming to stay with us for the whole
school year. I have two sisters and I’m afraid that Inez might have
problems getting on with Jane, the younger one. She’s at a difficult
age. Anyway, I’m going to phone Inez for the first time next
weekend. I’ll tell her about our house and her room, and ask what
she likes to eat. Is there anything else I should do?
