Przeczytaj trzy teksty o festiwalach (A–C) oraz zdania 9.1.–9.4. Do każdego zdania dopasuj właściwy tekst. Wpisz rozwiązania do tabeli.
Uwaga! Jeden z tekstów pasuje do dwóch zdań.   A. SCARECROW* FESTIVAL At the beginning of August, Kettlewell village in Yorkshire is decorated with hundreds
of figures filled with straw and dried grass. Some of them look like famous celebrities,
pop stars or cartoon characters. There’s an official scarecrow trail** visitors can
follow and they have a few days to do that. During the festival people can buy
delicious homemade cakes, soup and drinks. The money is collected for different
children’s charity projects.   B. HOLI FESTIVAL Holi is an ancient Hindu festival that celebrates the arrival of spring. Its date changes
each year depending on the phases of the moon. This year it was on 25th March. To
celebrate the festival, people go into the streets and throw colourful powders and
water at each other. After a few hours everyone is wet and covered in different
colours. That’s why Holi is sometimes called the Festival of Colours.   C. AIR GUITAR FESTIVAL The Air Guitar Festival is held every August in Oulu, Finland. Air guitarists from all
over the world go there for three days to show their skill in playing an imaginary
guitar. They imitate a real guitarist playing a rock song. Each air guitarist performs
individually for 60 seconds. On the final day of the festival a jury chooses the winner.
The prize is a real guitar worth about £1,000. * Scarecrow – strach na wróble.
** Trail – trasa, szlak.   9.1. This festival has two different names.   9.2. This festival helps people in need.   9.3. There is a competition at this festival.   9.4. This festival lasts one day.
