A. Last Wednesday a group of acrobats and the break dancers put on a show in our town center. The whole area was brought to a halt. Of course, it attracted pick-pockets and a number of people lost their wallets because they were foolish enough to have them in back pockets or open bags. There were police officers there, but they were too busy watching to do anything. I filmed it all but when I got home late that evening I realised that the sun had been in front of me and it was difficult to see anything.

B.I saw the performance and really enjoyed it. I'd arranged to meet my friend at 4 p.m. and see a film then but I bumped into him in the crowd, and we decided that it was more entertaining than the latest Hollywood Blockbuster and cheaper too. I know the traffic along Market Street was blocked for a while but you can't blame the performers for being so entertaining, can you? the Town Council should have moved them to the main square, but they were concerned about loss of trade for the cafés there.

C. I was looking forward to the performance but in the end I only watched a few minutes. it was quite fun but the crowds were overwhelming. it was a working day, so they must have all been unemployed or pensioners like myself. it was about half an hour later than I noticed the loss of my phone. it had been in my inside pocket so it took a lot of skill to remove it without me releasing. my own suspicion is that the person who did it was connected in some way with the performers. they all looked a bit undesirable if you know what I mean.
