Expressionists went pop and opened my eyes. I’ve never been into modern art but a friend told me the Expressionists Go Pop exhibition at MODAM was worth visiting. It opens at 10 a.m., so I got there early when it was quiet and I must admit I loved it. I didn’t like pop art as much as the abstract expressionism and obviously, some of the paintings are more impressive than others but for the first time in my life I really understood what modern art is about.
