Pytanie
Czasowniki statyczne i dynamiczne – przeczytaj poniższe przykłady i zadecyduj, która forma z oznaczonych w cudzysłowie jest prawidłowa - czasem pasują oba.
1. "Are you/ Are you being" judgemental if you form a firm impression of someone in the first few minutes of meeting them? "I don't think / I'm not thinking" so. It's just something we "all do / are all doing" naturally, whether you "like / are liking" it or not.
2. Have you "wondered / been wondering" what impression your online profile photos give? If not, you should. because it "appears / is appearing" that we're very consistent in our reactions to certain characteristics. A smiling face "means / is meaning" someone is approachable; a strong jaw line that you "are / are being" a dominant type.
3. It's funny to think that when you got dressed this morning, you "already made / were already making" a personal statement about how you "wanted / were wanting" people to perceive you. "I don't own / I'm not owning" any particularly smart or fashionable clothes and "I suppose / I'm supposing" that says something about me!
4. 'First impressions really count' is such nonsense! People "always come / are always coming" up with stuff like this, claiming they "have / are having" scientific proof to show that it's valuable life advice. But it's not. It just reflects the age we "live / are living" in where style "becomes / is becoming" more and more important and the things that really matter less and less important.
