Uwaga! Przymiotniki stopniujemy w następujący sposób:  

Przymiotniki jednosylabowe  

• w stopniu wyższym: dodajemy końcówkę -er  
• w stopniu najwyższym: przed przymiotnikiem stawiamy the i dodajemy końcówkę -est  

Przymiotniki dwusylabowe i dłuższe  

• w stopniu wyższym: przed przymiotnikiem stawiamy słowo more (bardziej) lub less (mniej) 
• w stopniu najwyższym: przed przymiotnikiem stawiamy the most (najbardziej) lub the least (najmniej)

Stopniowanie przymiotników, które odmieniają się nieregularnie, należy zapamiętać.
