Uwaga!

Zdanie warunkowe trzeciego stopnia tworzymy w następujący sposób: if + Past Perfect, would/wouldn't have + czasownik w III formie. Zdań warunkowych typu trzeciego używamy, gdy mówimy o wydarzeniach, które mogły się wydarzyć, ale się nie wydarzyły lub gdy chcemy wyrazić żal, że jakaś sytuacja nie miała miejsca.

Zdania warunkowe mieszane typu drugiego (If + Past Perfect, would/wouldn't + bezokolicznik) używamy w sytuacji, gdy analizujemy sytuacje, które mogły się wydarzyć w przeszłości, ale się nie zdarzyły i ma to określone skutki w teraźniejszości.
