Joe says that because of social media, there is less real-life communication - for example, it's uncommon to talk to strangers nowadays. 

Alexander always hears people saying that it actually blocks us in communicating, but in his experience, it's the other way around. He's met more people through social media than he did before he knew of it. In general, he thinks it's practical and it can help you a lot.

Lois thinks that social media shows we communicate because people tend to message and call much more than they meet face to face.

Darryl says it just made it a lot easier to stay in touch and to see photos of people, whereas before you had to wait for days to get a letter.

Alo thinks that social media has made communication more superficial. It hasn't really brought people together or helped them express themselves in a more authentic way. 

Dan guesses that social media has changed the ease of communicating. Before, it was much more difficult to arrange things or talk to a group of similar-minded people about a subject.

Back in Ty's day, they used to have telephones to communicate and it was a lot easier to speak to colleagues or friends but now social media has changed everything. He says that now we only communicate online with everyone and we don't see mannerisms, or the way we act.
