1. spend - to give money to pay for goods, services

earn - to get money for work that you do

save - to keep money instead of spending it

2. borrow - to take and use something that belongs to somebody else

5. credit card - a card that you use to pay for something and it gives you access to a line of debt in a bank

debit card - a card which deducts money directly from your bank account

store card - a card that a particular shop provides for regular customers so that they can use it to buy goods that they will pay for later

discount card - a card that entitles the holder to discounts on the prices of some products or services

6. ATM - a machine from which you can get money from your bank account using a special plastic card
