Uwaga!

Przy zamianie z mowy niezależnej (direct speech) na mowę zależną (reported speech), czasownik w czasie teraźniejszym zamienia się w czasownik w czasie przeszłym,
a czasownik w czasie przeszłym w 3 formę czasownika - imiesłów bierny.

Przesuwamy czas o jeden do tyłu za wyjątkiem czasu Past Perfect:

Present Simple - Past Simple

Present Perfect - Past Perfect

Past Simple - Past Perfect

will - would

can - could

3. (that) they wouldn't be there the next day.
